The wizard completed successfully and we were able to continue on with the deployment, hope this helps someone that may run into this issue. None of the above worked, what did work however was when we republished the topology and the “Select Database” window was presented to us, we selected the Database and clicked the Advancedbutton and the chose “Use SQL Server instance defaults” where it will created the databases based on the instance and configuration completed by the DBA. Ensuring that the below network options were turned on the SQL server:.Browsing to built in shares C$, D$, E$ from the SFB server.Browsing to built in shares C$, D$, E$ from the SQL server.Pinging from the SQL cluster to the SFB Front End Server.Pinging the SQL server cluster from the SBF Server.Upon opening the log file to view the contents of the error it Stated “System.IO.IOException: The network name cannot be found.” The Topology Published with errors: Creating Database Failed You can either click on ’Open’ from the app store or access the shortcut on your home screen.
